tonhalleLATE – classic meets electronic

tonhalleLATE is the internationally renowned and always sold-out concert and party series organised by the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich. In the first part of the evening, the exceptional cellist Sol Gabetta plays the Cello Concerto No. 1 by Camille Saint-Saëns, who was not only a composer, but also a poet, astronomer, cartoonist and generally an original mind. Our Music Director Paavo Järvi will then conduct a selection from the "Lemminkäinen Legends" by Jean Sibelius.

The second part features the legendary fusion of classical and electronic music: musicians from the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich meet music producer Stimming, who is in demand worldwide for his dubby minimal techno created with analogue equipment. And then we'll be dancing deep into the night again.
