Which piano plays all by itself?

For this concert, the programme booklet is available exclusively in printed form from the admission staff on the evening of the concert (CHF 5).

When the Rachmaninoff cycle comes to its grand finale at the Zurich Opera House and Tonhalle from 8 to 11 November, the Ticino pianist Francesco Piemontesi will be the soloist in both houses. He will also play Rachmaninoff in this recital - but not only. Before that there's Debussy, after that Schubert: Piemontesi thus immerses himself in three very different worlds of sound. And, to quote a Debussy title, ignites a "Feu d'artifice" glittering in all colours.
