Jugend Sinfonieorchester Zürich März 2024

Young people who not only make music, but also take the organisation of a concert into their own hands - that is an impressive commitment. Our student managers put their dedication and intensity into the planning of this special evening and work together to organise the concert.

Together with the Zurich Youth Symphony Orchestra, in which classical music shines in its full bloom, the student managers immerse themselves in a world that ranges from Tchaikovsky's setting of probably the most famous romance to rebellious interpretations of the wind instruments and romantic-jazzy chaos in Paris. "Blossom" symbolises the blossoming of individual talents and personalities in the context of classical music.

as a musical event, "Blossom" is not just a concert, but a journey in which young people can unfold in a creative and inspiring environment. It represents the artistic blossom that arises from the harmonious interplay of commitment, passion and the diversity of musical interpretations.

After our concert, there will be an open stage where we cordially invite ensembles and solo artists! If you or your ensemble are interested in playing at the Open Stage, please get in touch via Instagram or at schuelermanager@tonhalle.ch. Registration is possible both online and on site (as long as there are free slots). Please note that classical instruments are welcome.

For the registration

  • We need a short introduction text in which you introduce your ensemble, describe your musical genre and indicate the number of ensemble members.
  • Each ensemble will have a 15-minute time slot on stage to present your music. Please bring your own instruments and please note that tickets for the concert will not be covered by us.
  • However, as a small thank you, each ensemble member will receive a free ticket for any concert of the Tonhalle-Gesellschaft Zürich in the current season. And there will be a voucher for a drink at the bar.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Open Stage and are excited about your musical contributions!
