Georgia is regarded as a true talent factory for classical musicians. The virtuoso pianist and passionate piano poet Khatia Buniatishvili has contributed to this reputation. She began playing the piano at the age of three, gave her first concert with the Tbilisi Chamber Orchestra at the age of six and was already giving concerts abroad at the age of ten. Today, she wows audiences on the big stages with her technical finesse and passionate interpretations. The cosmopolitan and free-spirited musician speaks Russian, English, French and German. She has lived in Switzerland for three years. However, she has retained her Georgian temperament.
