This programme began with a quote from Clara Schumann: "I once thought I had creative talent, but I gave up the idea. A woman must not strive to compose - there has never been anyone capable of doing so. Should I assume I was the one who could?" That she actually could: Soprano Lisa Larsson wants to show this with her tribute to the composer, orchestrated by Rolf Martinsson. There will also be songs by Zemlinsky, whose name the performing ensemble already bears, as well as a string quartet by Robert Schumann, which Clara Schumann described as "delightful down to the smallest detail".
