In the “classic meets art” series, the musicians of the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich fly out: right inside an art space, we’re sparking a dialogue between different art forms. This time, we are joining forces during the Zurich Art Weekend with Re-Props at the Shedhalle. Walls, plinths, benches and other installations are both works of art and architectural frameworks. The pieces performed pose questions: Which composers belong on a plinth and why not others? When does a musical work of art begin and when does it end? We move through the space together, exploring it through music and dialogue.
